Commemorative coins

Apart from circulating coins, the Kazakhstan Mint produces commemorative and bullion coins, as is customary in other mints of the world. Our coins have become rare collectible items and their real value has surpassed the nominal value, which makes them a good investment option. 

National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan has issued commemorative coins since 1995. The coins are usually devoted to important events or anniversary dates. The main purpose of the commemorative coins is cultural-educative.

It is worth mentioning that we apply a specific minting technology during the minting process. As usual, the coins are made from precious metals. Fineness for gold coins is Au 999 and Ag 925 for silver coins. The mintage of such coins is limited.
